Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Pixel Dunes (the “game”), published by HugeTree (“we”, “us”). The short version: the game has no accounts and no analytics of our own, it stores your progress only on your device, and it shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID if you allow it.
1. What we collect ourselves
Nothing. We don’t ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email address, location or contacts, and the game has no server that receives your gameplay data.
2. What stays on your device
Your level progress, stars, current board, and settings (sound, music, vibration) are saved locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This data never leaves your device through the game, and it is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its storage.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the puzzle and results screens, occasional full-screen ads between levels, and optional rewarded videos when you ask for a hint. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and Google may collect and use:
- your device’s advertising identifier (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS);
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (such as device model, operating system version, app name and version);
- information about how ads are shown and interacted with.
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google’s own privacy policy, not by us. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and AdMob data disclosure for details.
We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers ourselves, and the ad network does not send any personal data back to us.
4. Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK and similar regions): the first time you open the game you may see a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform asking whether ads can be personalized. You can review or change your answer at any time from the Privacy button in the game’s menu.
- iOS: the game may ask permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. You can say no, or change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. If you decline, you still see ads, but they won’t be personalized using the IDFA.
- Android: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Settings › Google › Ads (menu names vary by device).
- No ads: turn off your connection — the game works fully offline and shows no ads without one.
5. Purchases and other SDKs
The game has no in-app purchases, so no payment information is involved. Apart from Google’s advertising SDK and the consent tools it includes, we have not added any analytics, crash-reporting, attribution or social-media SDKs.
6. Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help.
7. Data retention and security
We don’t hold any of your data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google’s policies. Your on-device progress is protected by your device’s own security.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the store listing and the game.
